Ink Feed and Degassing Systems


From its first plotters TOP DIGITEX has followed the evolution of better suited inks for digital. This need was felt immediately and still today it is important to have a strong and sure color feed system which, when necessary, can degas the ink to allow for a perfect print. Flexibility and experimenting have developed diverse color feed typologies suited to any kind of plotter.

IoT devices and inter-connection systems afferent to the “4.0 Transition” world allow us to analyze computer data for ink feed systems. TOP DIGITEX, based on the specific needs of their client, select and integrate these devices, seeking the best solution for punctual monitoring.

SYSTEM WITH OR WITHOUT DEGASSING

Weir feeder

 

The standard ink feed system is based on a system of pumping and control of the level in the mini-tank with a weir system. The optional degassing system allows to guarantee the absence of air in the ink and provide maximum print quality.

The principle characteristics are:

2 liter reserve bottle for each color;
Simple refilling of bottles without risk of dirtying the plotter;
System to manage length and ink pressure;
Flow of ink 15-60 ml/min.

Large tank feeder

 

The feeder with large tanks is an autonomous degassing system with four 10 liter tanks modifiable upon request. Low ink level is signaled with a luminous and acoustic alarm. The links are personalized for direct connection to the plotter systems.

The main characteristics are:

10 liter tanks for each color;
Simple tank filling without dirtying plotter;
Ink level control system;
Pump with empty regulation to degas ink.

Sack feeder

 

The sack feeder is a system suited to be placed above the plotter. This allows for managing ink in sacks, the control of residue level through load cells that signal when the weight has reached a critical level.

The principle characteristics are:

Economic and customizable;
Suited to any plotter with sacks;
Control system with load cells.
